Gamma AI app: web app, iOS and Android

Gamma is used mainly as a web app: open gamma.app in a browser and every feature is there. iOS and Android apps exist with regional limits. This page covers each platform. Information checked October 2026.

Desktop: Use it in the browser; nothing to install

01 — Web app

The browser is the full version

Open gamma.app in a current browser such as Chrome, Edge or Safari, sign in, and every feature is available. There is nothing to download or install; phone browsers work as well.

Google account, email, enterprise SSO. No credit card required.

Type a topic, paste an outline, or import a PDF or PPTX; the interface and output follow the language you use.

Is there a Gamma AI download for Windows or Mac?

No. There is nothing to download for desktop; everything runs in the browser.

02 — Mobile

iOS and Android apps

App details come from the App Store, Google Play and Gamma's help center.

iOS / iPadOS

“Gamma: AI Slides & Design” by Gamma Tech, Inc., free with in-app purchases, interface in English. The app page is visible on the Indian App Store. Gamma lists the mobile app as available in the US and Canada only, in early access. Elsewhere, open gamma.app in your phone's browser.

Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later, macOS 12 or later) can install the iPad version; Apple labels it “Designed for iPad, not verified for macOS.”

Android

“Gamma: AI Slides & PPT Maker” is published on Google Play. The listing is visible from India, and availability by country is set by Gamma. Devices without Google Play can use gamma.app in the phone browser.

03 — Desktop

No native desktop app

From Gamma's help center: Gamma has no native desktop app for Mac or Windows. The product runs in the browser, so there is nothing to download. The “Gamma” entry in the Microsoft Store is described by Gamma as a Windows app plugin, not a separate desktop client.

Is there a Gamma AI free download?

The iOS and Android apps are free where Gamma makes them available; there is no desktop download because the product runs in the browser. Any “desktop edition,” installer or cracked build offered by third parties is unrelated to Gamma Tech, Inc.; this site does not provide or recommend them.
