How AI credits work

Free plan
A new account receives 400 credits that do not expire and do not refresh monthly. Each referral adds 200 credits; a Free account can hold up to 2,000 credits.
Paid plans
Credits refresh monthly on both monthly and annual billing. Unused credits roll over, up to twice the plan's monthly amount.
Canceling or downgrading
After you cancel, the account returns to the Free plan with 400 credits; credits bought separately are kept for 12 months.
Payment methods
Pay with major credit and debit cards, or with UPI in India. Gamma's help center lists major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and others) worldwide, UPI in India and GoPay in Indonesia.
Refunds
Since December 1, 2025, Gamma refunds a new paid subscription, monthly or annual, if you ask within 3 days of subscribing and have used fewer than the plan's threshold of credits (Plus 200, Pro 600, Ultra 2,000). Contact Gamma support within those 3 days; canceling alone does not trigger a refund.
Common questions about plans
Is Gamma AI free?
Yes, with limits. The Free plan has no time limit; it gives 400 credits that do not refresh and generates up to 10 slides per prompt. Paid plans add monthly credits and features.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes. Gamma's pricing page states that annual billing saves up to 30%, and annual plans include the same monthly credits as monthly billing.
Can I change or cancel at any time?
Yes. Change or cancel your plan under “Manage subscription” in your gamma.app account.
How do I pay from India?
Gamma's help center lists UPI in India alongside international credit and debit cards. Prices are shown in USD on gamma.app; the checkout page shows the final currency and any tax.
